1) Acting Head of Shariah Department, assisting the Head Department function in various task and responsibility including representing the Head to Asset Liabilities Committee meetings (ALCO), Management Committee meetings (MANCO), Credit Investment Committee meetings (CIC) and Shariah Committee meetings of the Bank.2) Shariah Secretariat function. Translating documents from Arabic to English, English to Arabic and engaging with Arabic scholars; Shariah Committee of the Bank : Sheikh Dr Abdul Sattar Abu Ghuddah, Sheikh Dr Ali Muhyealdin Al-Qaradaghi and Sheikh Dr Walid Hadi).3) Shariah Advisory function. Assessing Credit Application, Sukuk, and quarterly review to all business operations of the Bank, providing Shariah solution to arising issues, disputes between corporate clients and the Bank, site-visit and regular Shariah Awareness Training to all AFB’s staff.4) Shariah Review function. Construct Shariah Review program that covers the Bank daily activities and transactions for quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis for reporting to the Shariah Committee.5) Shariah Research function. Conduct research and provide solutions to daily business issues.
