About Ari Feingold

I started bussing tables when I was fourteen. I have worked every FOH and BOH position in food service. From curating large scale music festivals to washing dishes and prepping in Michelin Star establishments, I have proudly worn any hat that was required of me. In 2010 I opened my first restaurant. I now own and operate Proposition Chicken - a twelve unit restaurant chain in The Bay Area. When I drove to California I had four thousand dollars. I saved it by living with a family, cleaning their home and taking care of the kids so that I didn't have to pay rent. I never thought any of this was possible but here we are.
