My Mission Statement: I am devoted to advocating the rights of the Environment and Families through personal connections and studying the obstacles that are being faced. Through my previous experiences and field of study, my goal is to create and oversee events that are educational as well as entertaining and to ensure that events are taken care of from start to finish. I live a life of organized chaos and many passions. Up until the beginning of my senior year in college I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to do in life. Be an Elementary Educator, lo and behold I found that I am not cut out to be a teacher. I decided to enter Communications to find a way to put my passions and skills into a job. As a child I had many passions, one of them being an event or wedding planner. From the very beginning of my teenage years till now my mission in life is to help people and to educate the world about the marine environment. I wanted a job that not only helped people but educated them as well. My previous and current employment has grown my skills in data entry, management, confidentiality, and customer service. I am exploring my newfound love for the communication field as well as the business field and have revisited my dream to become an event planner. I am gathering as much information and experience as I can about the event planning career through volunteer opportunities at the Newberg Animal Shelter as well as the Friendsview Retirement home. As I continue on my journey, I have been able to see my career path come to fruition.
