I have been working as an algorithm developer at Sight Diagnostics since 2019. During that time, I have taken a number of projects from the research/exploration phase to software deployment (Python). This includes acting as the self and team driver of the research, principal analyst and statistician for any generated data, and designer/developer of any required software solutions. Another focus of my work has been to develop tools as internal software services and packages for data engineering, simulation, modeling, benchmarking, and visualisation.Prior to that, in 2019 I completed a PhD in Chemistry at Monash University. My project was composed of mutually dependent analytical and experimental aspects, where high quality data from carefully designed experiments was required to create iterative improvements in complex synthetic systems. During that time, I learned to program in Matlab with a focus on robust data analytics, modeling, and visualization, ultimately developing fully featured, user friendly software for high-throughput analysis, which was required for the project.
