I collaborated closely with lead Investigator Dr. Kyrah Brown on the groundbreaking Black Doula Project. Working on the Black Doula Meet-Up initiative, I played a crucial role in summarizing a meaningful recorded conversation between doulas and birth workers to openly share their experiences and insights regarding the community's perception of doula care. The culmination of this project was a comprehensive report that synthesized the nuanced conversations from the meet-up, providing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the community. This report went further to present three community recommendations aimed at enhancing the understanding and accessibility of doula care. My involvement in this research allowed me to contribute to a meaningful dialogue and provide actionable recommendations for the improvement of doula care in the community.

As an Administrative Coordinator at WOT, I played a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency. My responsibilities included crafting and delivering impactful meeting presentations, tracking and reporting on organizational OKRs, and coordinating staff projects to improve team communication. I utilized various administrative software platforms to organize and maintain over 4,000 member profiles. Additionally, I actively participated in training volunteers across departments and managed a monthly administrative supply budget, demonstrating my commitment to effective resource allocation.
