Born in Changsha, China, I spent most of my first 18 years in my hometown. After finishing high school, I decided to study in the US for college education. I applied many universities in the US and received admission from some of them. After serious consideration, my decision to go to UC Davis is not only boased on ts well-known reputation but also because of the nice weather in California.As a student at the University of California, Davis, I expect to receive B.A. in Economics with minors in Statistics and Managerial Economics in June 2015. The college education has extensively taught me critical thinking, researh, analytics and writing skills as well as direct knowledge in economic and financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical modeling.In addition, I hold two summer internships in 2012 in Bank of China and in a company doing international business. Both experience honed my ability and preference in coordinating with other people since I found most projects and business would not be finished without team work. More importantly, I performed outreach for potential clients when I hold internship at Bank of China which greatly sharpened my communication skills and skills in clients network building.My current interest is focused on financial analysis and banking management. I am looking for positions in banking system as banker, bank analysts, research associates or any position in asset manangement team.
