Simulated Supply Chain Strategy Switching for a FMCG Company With Anylogic. • Supply Chain and Product Data was extracted from the SAP system to fully model and configure the global supply chain for a FMCG company.• Adjusted parameters (adjusting order agents to change order triggering mode, adjust reorder point and batch size) to depict different strategies combination for different product families, including make-to-order (BTO), assemble-to-order (ATO), Build-to-Availability (BTA), Assemble or Customize-to-Order (ATO) and Build-to-X (BTX). • The simulation achieved the in-time order fulfilment improved by 5% by finding the optimal strategy combination.III. Constructed Scheme for Supply Chain Resilience Assessment.• Analyzed more than 100 indexes to systematically evaluate the capability and vulnerability of the supply chain. Published the questionnaire through Qualtrics within pilot company for supply chain resilience evaluation and got more than 300 responses in different departments.• Achieved the visualization between each factor in vulnerability and their corresponding capabilities through Sankey Chart (more than over 1000 linkages in total) by Power BI to depict how the company could improve the capability for better resilience.IV. Constructed a Dashboard to Show Customer Shipment Forecast Value for Next Serval Months Using Power BI.• Constructed a shipment dashboard through data input using Power Query. Data refresh option was used in Excel to stay up-to-date with the data in the source without manual intervention. This data was then linked and visualized to show forecast shipment values, which helped to easily track demand.• Achieved 10% lower inventory cost through in-time monitoring and adjusting shipment accordingly. Customer can see and understand shipment value in future easily with the dashboard.
