With past experiences in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in the areas of business development, process improvement, and marketing, today I use my skills in helping organizations develop well-functioning teams in order to achieve their goals. In 2019 I was a founding member of a non-profit women's giving circle called Project W. It is an organization "By Women, For Women" focusing on helping women and families of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. In 2021 we reached a membership of 144 woman more than doubling the number of members since our inception in 2019. In 2021 we awarded $60,000 in grants. I also serve as Chair of the Communications Committee for Project W as well as co-chair for the DEI&A (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Access) Committee. As Chair of the Communications Committee I have been responsible for developing and managing their website, https://projw.org, and social media platform. As co-chair of Project W's DEI&A committee we work with our board of advisors, committee chairs, and members to develop a cohesive DEI&A strategy that looks to ensure that our governance, grant application, and grant review processes are inclusionary, accessible, and fair. My work with Project W led to an opportunity to serve on the board of the marketing committee of The Community's Foundation, TCF, a non-profit organization serving Delaware County. As a member of this board I provide marketing, communications, and social media input to help guide the marketing strategy of TCF. I also sit on the TCF DEI committee. In 2012 I created a blog , Navigating the Labyrinth of Life, https://thelabyrinthguide.wordpress.com, with the hopes of inspiring, motivating, and entertaining others. I share experiences from living in the US, Colombia, Belgium, and the UK, from career to family life, and my passion for travel, food, dogs, running, all things multi-cultural, advocacy for diversity and inclusion, interest in supporting women's causes, and mindfulness. The name of the blog is inspired by my Greek Mythology name, Ariadne and its story. To read more about this go to: https://thelabyrinthguide.wordpress.com/2012/04/26/whats-in-a-name/ In 2017, I started a second blog called "The Kitchen Blackboard". It is our family’s journal of menus, quotes, and everyday life captured on our kitchen blackboard. https://thekitchenblackboard.wordpress.com I hope to inspire others with menu ideas, quotes, and colorful doodles with The Kitchen Blackboard.
