Some people are born with the talent for sports, or the ability to solve complex math equations in record times, but then there are the people, like myself, who were born to grow into the things they are meant to do. School always came naturally to me, and school is where I fell in love with science. I knew that science was my calling, and I will stop at nothing to reach my goal to engulf myself with science every day in my career someday. My first goal was to complete a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University, and I have achieved that. I graduated with a BS in Biology from ASU in December 2018, and now I am fulfilling another dream of obtaining my Masters in Forensics, which I will complete this December 2021. Forensic Science/Biology is the perfect fit for me because I love science, the human body, and trying to put together all the pieces of a puzzle using modern technology to help solve crimes. Currently, I work at Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Company, where I am the Phoenix Hospitality Manager. I love my job at Rainbow Ryders and I have learned a lot of important working skills to ready me for the Forensic Science field, but it definitely is not my final career path. Now that I am nearing the completion of my Master's degree, I am excited to explore job prospects in my field of study.When I’m not at work or doing school work, I like to visit with my family, go on walk with my husband, Hunter, and our dog, Remy. I also like to travel and explore to new places when I can, cook healthy meals, sing and play the piano, and watch plenty of Netflix (I think the proper term is “binge watch").
