Some functions of my role as product development assistant for the Levi’s® Men’s Global Bottoms team role include-Acting as a liaison between cross functional partners (merchandizing and design) and global field partners working directly with vendors overseas to ensure alignment in product aesthetic, quality, and costing during the development process-Analyzing product data and maintaining product records to ensure accuracy in bulk production-Organizing and leading a training for global field partners in how to utilize tool used for product data management-Leading product reviews with brand teams and communicated with field partners to resolve product issues and mitigate risk-Managing and owning the development process for small product segments in Levi’s® Men’s Global Bottoms and ensure go to market calendar deadlines are met on time and as seamlessly as possible to minimize financial impact and use of resources.-Negotiating COGS down to help better the financial health of the company through analysis and negotiation alongside manager; ensuring sure results remain constant and data remains accurate

I helped to redevelop the Santa Clara University Retail Studies senior seminar course through leading focus groups to get student input and analyzing the results in order to redesign the course format to be more comprehendible and relevant to student learning. I presented the outcome in the form of a new course syllabus to be used for the following graduating class.

I served on the executive board of the Retail Studies Student Association working to coordinate with foundations and non-profits in the South Bay Area and on campus and lead 90 Students and 15 members of the executive board in fundraising and community involvement activities.

I conducted field and market research to create a presentation on ways to elevate the Levi’s® Tailor Shop experience for customers and presented findings and ideas to Global Leadership Team, some of which were implemented into their business and marketing strategy in months to come. I also developed a Digital Finish Catalog as a tool for Signature® and Denizen ® product team use internally and for the counter-development process.

I assisted in a qualitative communication study on men’s leadership and engagement on college campuses. I coded and analyzed data and created info graphics and visual presentations to share findings with public.

I worked as a teacher’s assistant to the 9th Grade Dean and Assistant Director of Admissions at the Athenian School, scheduling 9th grade ambassadors meetings, grading 9th grade literature assignments, and tutoring 9th graders in writing skills.

The WNS is a program that offers homeless families across the Bay Area shelter in various homes of worship in the area. Families are provided with shelter, food, childcare, counseling and transportation. I helped to collect donations and recruit volunteers, as well as set up the shelter. I also volunteered at the shelter itself, as the head of childcare and a volunteer in meal preparation. This was an incredibly rewarding and unforgettable experience.
