As a co-founder and director, Ariana's role is to drive the overall strategic direction of the company, negotiate major distribution contracts and formulate the marketing strategy of the company as it continues to grow and expand.

Project Change International is an Australian charity and social enterprise that empowers and enables women and girls to exit the poverty cycle independently. The charity raises funds to provide quality education to women globally suffering disadvantage by reason of poverty or from being subjected to sexual or labour abuse. As one of the appointed directors to the board, Ariana's responsibilities include:1. Advising on the strategic direction of the charity;2. Advising on legal matters associated with the day to day operation of the charity;3. Liaising with corporate partners and ambassadors of the charity and negotiating terms of partnership; and4. Developing a marketing strategy to help raise awareness about the work of the charity.

Hypoxi Australia Pty Limited is the exclusive distributor and franchisor of commercial Hypoxi technology in Australia and New Zealand. Ariana was a co-founder and director of the company.Since inception in 2005, Ariana and her team grew the HYPOXI distribution network to 86 retail locations across Australia and New Zealand servicing over 250,000 retail clients. Simultaneously, HYPOXI Australia developed comprehensive technical, operational and marketing infrastructure to support the network and aid the growth of the company. As a result of strong strategic planning and a multi-faceted marketing plan, HYPOXI developed from an unknown brand to a leader in the health and fitness industry. Through responsible management and fiscal planning, the company maintained strong net profit margins between 25% to 35% over 8 consecutive years, despite trading through the GFC. Hypoxi was awarded the Smart Company Smart50 award for its growth.In March 2014, Ardent Leisure Group Limited acquired 100% of the shareholding in HYPOXI Australia Pty Limited. Subsequently acquired by Quadrant Private Equity, HYPOXI Australia now falls within Quadrant's fitness portfolio, which includes other assets such as Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs. As a result of the acquisition, Ariana stepped down as Managing Director of the company to explore new opportunities.

Coates Hire is Australia’s largest industrial hire company, supplying to a wide variety of markets including Engineering, Civil Construction, Mining, Manufacturing and Events.As Senior Legal Counsel, Ariana was responsible for providing professional legal advice on critical legal, commercial and strategic issues. Working closely with several heads of departments across the company and reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, the role involved the following key areas:1. Devising and implementing key legal and business projects, including the creation of the company’s contract review policy, development of the company’s standard terms of trade and the formulation of a business process for the assessment of potential commercial sites.2. Developing and delivering a national training program to all sales staff across the country on how to negotiate a favourable agreement for the hire of equipment and how to identify common risks in hire agreements.3. Advising senior management on understanding complex business & contractual risks & negotiating favourable risk outcomes.4. Reviewing major supply contracts for clients and negotiating with our clients’ legal counsel in order to successfully execute agreements which minimised risk to Coates.5. Advising & negotiating on property and leasing issues, including the review and renewal of lease agreements across Coates’ 203 leased branch locations.6. Management of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, intellectual property, negligence and ACL.7. Assisting in the scheme of arrangement for the delisting of Coates Hire and the acquisition of all issued capital by The Carlyle Group and National Hire Group Limited in 2008. I also was involved with a number of legal issues which emanated from the change in corporate structure.
