Odommo Bangladesh Trust, established on 17 September 2024, as part of an evolving ecosystem dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children and youth across Bangladesh. This trust is an extension of my journey that began in 2013 with Mojar School and Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, award-winning initiatives focused on education, awareness, and sustainable development.With over a decade of experience, my mission remains steadfast: to create new hope for marginalized communities by providing free education (formal and technical), food, and a platform for youth empowerment. With the dream of a street child free Bangladesh.The Mojar School, one of the many projects of a registered organisation Odommo BangladeshFoundation, started on January 10, 2013. A non-profit organisation, here hundreds of street childrenstudy, eats and interacts on a regular basis. "Our schools are located all over Dhaka," says Arifur,one of the founders and also instructors. "We have schools at the Suhrawardy Uddayan in Shahbagh,Kamalapur Railway Station, Sadarghat Launch Terminal, Airport Railways Station, Gabtoli Bus Stationand the Agargaon slums."

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES1) Board Governance: Works with board in order to fulfill the organization mission.1. Responsible for leading Odommo Bangladesh Foundation ( Known as Mojar School) in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Board of Directors.2. Responsible for communicating effectively with the Board and providing, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.2) Financial Performance and Viability: Develops resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization.1. Responsible for fundraising and developing other revenues necessary to support Odommo Bangladesh Foundation.’s mission.2. Responsible for the fiscal integrity of Odommo Bangladesh Foundation., to include submission to the Board of a proposed annual budget and monthly financial statements, which accurately reflect the financial condition of the organization.3. Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position.3) Organization Mission and Strategy: Works with board and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach.1. Responsible for implementation of Odommo Bangladesh Foundation.’s programs that carry out the organization’s mission.2. Responsible for the enhancement of Odommo Bangladesh Foundation.’s image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professional, civic and private organizations.4) Organization Operations: Oversees and implements appropriate resources to ensure that the operations of the organization are appropriate.1. Responsible for the hiring and retention of competent, qualified staff.
