From a young age, I have been cutting clippings of furniture out of magazines and gluing them out onto paper to make floorplans and mood boards. Fast forward twenty five years and I am pursuing this passion at the New York School of Interior Design. I have a business background in analytics and marketing which I heavily leveraged while working for PwC and then Bain. While at Bain I honed these analytical skills building models for private equity firms to assess financial viability of investments. While this may seem disconnected from interior design, the hard and soft skills working alongside top executives of fortune 500 companies provided me with a strong foundation for collaborating with interior design clients and the more technical components of rendering. Throughout the past two years I have interned at a hospitality and high-end residential firm providing me with well-rounded experiences to work from concept through execution and installation of small to large scale projects. My hands-on involvement in these projects allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the construction process, design documentation, and client coordination. I have a high level of proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office, which I use to create detailed CAD drawings, elevations, and technical plans. In addition to my technical skills, I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing responsibilities with flexibility. I am confident that my diverse skill set, combined with a positive, can-do attitude, will make me a valuable asset to a team.
