Arian L. B. is a Associate Director of Residence Life at University of Central Florida. There are literally thousands of students that check in every year and the project is one of the largest that we perform. Arian Bryant, Ed.D, Director of Residence Life and Education, is our primary point of contact. Dr. Bryant is a skilled manager and leader. At every turn, Dr. Bryant encourages feedback from our on site crew along with our companies executive team. Then, assessing this feedback, uses a leadership skill that will stop a process that is not working and replace it, or continue to improve a process that has consistently worked and in some cases, start an entirely new process because of a new dynamic within the project. Dr. Bryant is resilient. The size of the "student move-in project" is immense. Many other UCF (and outside) constituencies play a significant role in the successful performance of this project. Resiliency and a willingness to listen to their needs is tantamount to uneventful performance. Dr. Bryant has an ability to adapt to a truly present issue while maintaining the work at hand. Dr. Bryant recognizes that delegation is critical in large, multi-phase projects that use third party vendors. Proper delegation encourages personal growth of the individual. Sometimes the vendor too! . Dr. Bryant recognizes the strength and weaknesses of individuals and companies in a manner that allow growth. In fact, because of Dr. Bryant's delegation, Suddath created a new business model that has allowed Suddath to assist other Universities with managing the student move-in process. Because of Dr. Bryant and his knowledge of our abilities, Suddath is able to manage and coordinate our services efficiently resulting in less administration on our part.
