Solid’Africa is a Rwandan not-for-profit organization aiming to support the most socio-economically vulnerable individuals in need of medical, hygiene, emotional, suitable diet and food assistance.Recognizing that many patients in public hospitals remain unable to cover the extra cost of hospitalization, especially the living cost (food and hygiene) not covered by the insurance, Solid’Africa is committed to ensuring that the basic needs of these individuals such as food, hygienic products or transportation home are covered. Main tasks as Vice President include: organizing fundraising events, developing public relations and communications tools, program development.

Provision of strategic direction and management of the Great Lakes Cross-borderprogram, in coordination with 6 partner organizations in DRC, Rwanda and Burundi.Responsibilities include: • Providing overall leadership and strategic direction within the Great LakesRegion necessary to enable Interpeace to implement its mandate;• Managing an overall budget of USD 9 million, ensuring delivery of all agreedoutputs and financial sustainability; • Managing donor relationships as well as engaging other internal and externalactors to maintain and increase support to the programme; • Coordinating programme evaluation across regional programmes;• Coordinating regional research on over 8,000 individuals in the threecountries on “resilience for reconciliation”;• Supporting national programmes as needed in DRC, Rwanda and Burundi.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the strategic monitoring tool that will be utilized throughout the Ops Division; • Review all proposals and substantial reports coming from programmes and provide feedback ; • Support the Deputy Director General-Ops in the review and sharing of relevant, country-specific content; • Travel to the regions to gain better understanding, follow programmatic direction, and provide physical support as strategically needed. • Provide programmatic guidance and operational support for field activities by Interpeace and its partner, CEPAD in Timor-Leste, specifically with respect to the content and methodology of the work. This includes, but is not limited to, collaboratively developing and nurturing a clear understanding of Interpeace’s programme of work in Timor-Leste. Regions of action: West Africa (Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire, Mali), East Africa and the Great Lakes region, South East Asia (Timor-Leste)

As researcher and head of communications at the Institute of Research and Dialogue for Peace (IRDP), main tasks include developing communication strategies, disseminating research results country wide, being the focal contact with donors and other civil society organizations, monitoring and evaluating progress markers and advocating for change using media. Also participates in coordinating some of the institute’s projects such as reinforcing women’s capacities in conflict resolution and prevention through experience sharing trips in post conflict countries (Burundi, Liberia, Somalia etc.)
