As a former Operations Manager of Coaching Innovation at BetterUp, I leveraged my 10+ years of experience in people management, talent development, and program management and design to create and execute innovative solutions for coaching excellence and diversity. I hired and onboarded 50+ part-time independent contractors in 6 weeks, surpassing the goal of 35% BIPOC candidates at 38%, and developed improvement plans and resources that resulted in 17% performance improvement and 87% conversion. I also oversaw and led a cross-functional pilot project with the Direct to Consumer team to release a highly diverse cohort of coaches for a new market segment.Previously, I worked as a Senior Talent Development Coach and a Manager of Talent Development and Partnerships at General Assembly, where I built new programs, improved processes, and helped individuals reach their development and career goals. I created and designed the UX Passion Project, a 6th project added to the global GA UX curriculum, and the Career Lab program, aimed at optimizing time and effort for coaches. I also led the OKR development for a team of 5 coaches and built the Cohort Meet-up programming and curriculum for coaches and students. I am passionate about fair hiring practices, professional development, and mentorship, and I aim to teach people how to advocate for themselves and feel confident in their skills. I hold a Safe Zone Certification, a CPR certification, and a Strategic Leadership Program certificate from the University of Washington. In my free time, I enjoy baking chocolate chip cookies, playing on a club ultimate frisbee team, and singing lots of karaoke!
