Growing up in a big family (four sisters, I know, poor dad) I naturally acquired leadership skills that have helped my success in everything I do, and for that, I am very grateful for. At a young age I knew my goal was to play collegiate sports whether it be via Softball or Soccer. After being told I wasn't going to make it, I worked my butt off prove otherwise and later was offered a starting position at WWU where I played all four years, later receiving a full ride scholarship for my last 2 years. Throughout college I was a full time student, athlete, and part-time server while balancing marketing internships. To say I have honed in on my time-management skills is an understatement. After graduating from Western Washington University with a degree in Business Marketing, I decided I would take the new found "freedom" to pursue a passion of mine. With all my own hard earned money and planning, I traveled all over Europe for three months. Through this experience I grew the courage to take the leap of faith and move to Australia on my own where I lived for an entire year. The absolute best year of my life. I am a huge people-person! I've been in the customer service industry since I was 16 and love engaging with others. Being an adaptable person is something I am very prideful of and has helped me not only professionally but personally. Between growing up with 4 sisters who all have VERY different personalities, to being on several teams consisting of up to 23 girls, to traveling the world on my own where you're forced to put yourself out there to create new relationships, I am very confident in being able to handle adversity as well as being a self-starter and independent problem solver.Traveling has afforded me life experience and skills I never knew I needed but now can't imagine who/where I would be without them. Apart from traveling, I love spending my time in the gym, hitting the fun/trendy happy hour spots, & trying new adventures as often as possible.
