11 years ago, a diagnosis of type one diabetes sparked my passion for healthcare, technology, and innovation. Using many different medical devices to stay alive and improve my quality of life has led to my desire to create and build within the biomedical space. I've taken my first step in this journey through developing Daia, an app to allow for short-term and smarter sharing of blood sugar data. But I am more than just a pretty interface. I recently graduated as Valedictorian of Stevens Institute of Technology majoring in Biomedical Engineering, where I was a part of the Pinnacle Honors Program and held many leadership positions on campus. I've worked in multiple labs, researching diabetes and deep brain stimulation. I am a 2024-2025 Tau Beta Pi Fellow and am attending Columbia University to obtain a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
