CurrentLed research-driven development of programs and curricula that build resiliency in students with trauma backgrounds (ACEs) through responsiveness and relationship building strategies as well as academic and extracurricular activities that strengthen students' self-efficacy. Helped to establish strong leadership-based community-building programs and activities through the coordination of the FLIGHT (leadership) team. Planned and facilitated data-driven curriculum building activities focused on incorporating school-wide adoption of culturally-competent content as well as RTI, PB(I)S, and AVID models and strategies. Specialized in differentiation at both the Honors and Reading Intervention levels of the 7th and 8th grade English curriculum. Ensured student access to alternative pathways toward success as part of an On-Time Graduation Specialists team. Additional experience gained in teaching the 8th grade Health curriculum during the 2015-2016 school year.
