Currently working in a private practice setting providing mental health services to children and adults educating clients on strategies and coping skills, making referrals to resources like psychiatrists, treatment facilities, or community services, and helping patients with a variety of issues such as substance abuse, bullying, anger management, depression, relationships, stress and suicide.

• Provide core and ancillary substance abuse therapies daily for SAMHSA(Substance Abuse Mental Health Service Administration Grant. • maintaining communication with the referral source, court systems, and other involved human service providers as related to the client’s ongoing treatment and discharge planning.• working within the multidisciplinary team to develop treatment planning, treatment case reviews, and all written documentation as required by the agency, state and federal courts and all funding sources.• provide crisis management when indicated by client need and attend regularly scheduled in-service training as assigned.•  follow state licensing requirements;• participate in quarterly training with staff, participate in COA sight review, and maintain COA standards;• Provide gender specific group for men and women. • Ohmega (Minority Empowerment Group for Addiction) • Provide 6 different group for minority women. (Sista, Seeking Saftey, Economic Success in Recovery, Women’s path to Recovery, Motivation Interviewing, and HITS• Group and individual counseling designed specifically for minority women• Relapse prevention education • HIV/Aids case management and HIV focused counseling Linkage to supportive services (eg. Housing assistance, vocational training, employment assistance, GED /adult literacy classes, and primary and behavioral health care)

● Provide direct clinical and consultation services● Provision of individual and group psychotherapy/counseling to inmates with the goals of reducing maladaptive behavior and fostering effective psychological functioning● crisis intervention services to inmates● Clinical Service Reports of inmates● Completion of a diagnostic evaluation, to include clinical interview, interpretation of psychological testing, and development of a written report to include findings and recommendations.● Relevant clinical documentation in the health record regarding the inmate’s participation in mental health treatment. ● Support and/or monitoring of inmate's mental condition for institutional psychiatric staff● Suicide Prevention and Emergency responses.
