As a current undergraduate student in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Pennsylvania State University, I am actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Sustainability Policy, coupled with a double minor in Sustainability Leadership and Energy Business and Finance. I am currently seeking opportunities to help further my foundation of knowledge in sustainability, while also welcoming opportunities that help broaden my comprehension of the environmental sciences in general. Dedicated to the continuous effort of environmental conservation, restoration, and awareness, I intend to make myself, my experiences, and my education purposeful to the core principles and justices of intersectional environmentalism. I have skills doing this in both formal and informal settings, and both in and out of the classroom. I have first-hand experience in educating students about environmentalism and environmental science as I was a biological science teaching assistant to two labs for one year. Similarly, I served as a campus "Eco-Rep", where I was a student ambassador for promoting and suggesting ways to make student life on campus more sustainable. Furthermore, I wrote several articles relating to sustainability and climate change for Penn State's Sovereign Magazine.Due to my various exposures and experiences in conveying my passion for environmentalism, I have an in-depth understanding of setting dynamics and familiarity with a plethora of personalities.This makes me very open-minded and easy to collaborate with. I am hoping to work alongside like-minded individuals, in a space that encourages and embraces inclusivity as we strive to help and protect the planet.
