REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS Primary P&L responsibility for 12 anesthesia operations, including 2 Level I trauma hospitals, 1 regional hospital, 5 rural hospitals and 4 ambulatory surgery centers. Plan, develop and execute operating budgets for hospital partners to satisfy provider coverage needs and minimize costs. Implement staffing strategies for new starts and existing operations; currently managing over 150 FTE anesthesia providers covering +75 daily points of service. Foster productive client relationships by regularly communicating business updates to Hospital C-Suites. Deliver quarterly dashboard presentations, discussing Premier’s financial performance, operating trends, and quality metrics. Develop recruiting compensation guidelines based on market analysis for permanent and locums providers. Negotiate legal agreements, including anesthesia service contract modifications, employment agreements and compensation amendments for all locations.

Responsible for business development and operational support as well as financial management of Sound Anesthesia Programs. Assist in building foundational business development processes, endeavor to build client alignment and satisfaction, grow profit, utilize and advance management information systems, drive process consistency as well as improvement andlead business management systems. Key responsibilities will include managing the drivers of P+L performance, providing financial, and operational insight to clinical and business leaders within Sound.

•Underwrote both cash flow and asset-based transactions for middle-market companies owned by private equity firms. Five most recent transactions range in size from $250 million to $17 million each.• Managed $170 million in total commitments to four portfolio accounts, which consisted of monitoring weekly borrowing bases, availability certificates and monthly financials, presenting quarterly reviews to risk management, and conducting collateral audits, appraisals, insurance reviews and environmental due diligence.• Proposed deal team recommendations by generating internal write-ups, which identify strengths, mitigate risks, analyze financial statements, research industry dynamics and provide background descriptions.• Coordinated deal process for GE-led transactions with external 3rd parties, including negotiating with legal counsel, communicating and managing bank group, distributing relevant information, supervising closings and facilitating amendments to Credit Agreements.

• Assisted in underwriting syndicated loans for both active and passive participations of cash flow transactions.• Covered multiple industry specialties, including radio, television, newspaper, outdoor advertising, rural local exchange carriers and wireless telecommunications.• Managed $750 million in total bank commitments to sixteen portfolio accounts, which consisted of analyzing financial statements, producing collaborative industry whitepapers for the corporate bank, preparing quarterly reviews, assessing multiple collateral types and creating internal credit memos.
