I am a research technician with over two years of experience working in research labs. I have experience with various molecular biology techniques such as ELISAs, SDS-PAGE, agarose gel electrophoresis, plasmid cloning (transformation, induction, plasmid purification), PCR/rt-qPCR, RNA isolation, his-column chromatography, Southern/Western blotting, immunohistochemical staining, and cell culture. I also have experience working as a psych tech, where I gained experience working with psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting.At the moment I am working as a lab assistant at New York Medical College and pursuing an M.S. in pharmacology at UC-Irvine. I am currently open to new opportunities as a research associate, and I'm considering eventually furthering my education through a PhD.
