Ads Placement, Media, Events, etc.The Girona Area Public Transport Consortium, the Girona Territorial Transport Authority or ATMG (Autoridad Territorial de Movilidad Girona), is a body governed by public law with legal personality and its own assets created under the aegis of Article 20 of Law 9/2003 of 13 June on transportation; Article 55.1 of Law 13/1989 of 14 December on the legal organisation, procedures and regulations of the Government of Catalonia; and Article 6 of Law 30/1992 of 26 November on regulations governing public bodies and common governmental procedure. The consortium is comprised of different governmental bodies (membership is voluntary and for an indefinite period) with the purpose of coordinating public transport for users in the counties of Gironès, La Selva, El Pla de l'Estany, L'Alt Empordà, El Baix Empordà, El Ripollès and La Garrotxa, and in order to fulfil the other purposes stipulated in the body's statutes. The members that make up the Girona Area Public Transport Consortium of the Girona Territorial Transport Authority (ATMG) include the Government of Catalonia, and the county and municipal councils listed in the appendix to the ATMG statutes.
