Conducting extensive research for Professor William Kovacic on corruption and supplier collusion in public procurement in the United States at the federal, state, and local level. My research involves a comparison of the different procurement systems, as well as specific cases of bad actors taking advantage of such systems. Additionally, my research.

I worked closely (yet virtually) with attorneys in the Criminal Appeals Section. The bulk of my work consisted of legal research and writing, which ultimately took the form of appellate briefs. A noteworthy assignment was a response to the defendant's motion calling for abatement. There, I made a strong policy argument for why abatement doctrine did not.

Although my work was hampered by COVID-19, I was tasked with converting hard files to an electronic format. I also drafted a motion to suppress evidence obtained in violation of the Defendant's 5th Amendment.
