About Aricka Truchan (Mccauley)
I graduated from Specs Howard School of Media Arts in April of 2011. I landed my first job in radio at Cumulus Toledo where I was an on air announcer. I loved working the board, playing music, talking to listeners and learning more everyday. I worked at 96.9 WBTI in Port Huron on air Sunday through Friday, for a year and a half doing remotes, taking phone calls and running the board for sports events. Next it was Rockford, IL for 97Zok with The Steve Shannon Show, Monday through Friday, which lead me to a gig working Monday through Friday, on U93 in South Bend, IN. I got great experience working in Fort Wayne, IN for K105fm, where I got to do middays and afternoon drive. At k105 I crafted my skills on artist interviews in person, even traveling to the Bahamas, in studio and over the phone and also crushed stage announcements. I am now back home working part time in radio and full time at Specs Howard. I was with 96.3WDVD and NASHfm 93.1 where I worked promotions and also got to do weekends on 93.1fm! I left Cumulus to work Friday and Saturday nights on 99.5 WYCD! Since pandemic I've been doing a lot of on air work for 104.3 WOMC. I have worked with several Promotional companies doing liquor promotions. I was voted Girl Next Door of The Year by DetroitSports360.com LLC In 2011. I love acting and had 2 movies out one in (2011) and 5 Year Engagement in (2012). I got to be in my very first fashion show thanks to Talbot's store in The Village of Rochester Hills plaza. I really enjoy connecting with others and doing anything I can to get ahead in life. I have worked many different jobs that involve promotions. Specialties: Promoting products or Companies, Board Operator, Adobe Audition, On-air personality, Broadcast style writing, voice tracking, interviews and hosting concerts and events.
