Over 20 years, I've worked in the energy sector, and spent a few years in banking, and government roles prior to that. Throughout my career, I have been blessed to have lived in ten countries. The different cultures, languages and ways of working has been fulfiling for me, both personally and professionally. I started working in the deserts of Mexico as a field engineer and I could never have imagined lasting so long in a very dynamic and challenging industry such as this one. At the moment I support a portfolio of integration projects that involve multi-disciplinary teams to unlock energy sources for our customers around the world. The energy landscape is right now undergoing a pivotal shift: digital transformation, and a move towards sustainable energy through decarbonization and venturing into new energy sources. I'm an advocate for these exciting shifts, recognizing the need for a balanced approach to harnessing energy. I keep myself appraised on innovative tools to boost project outcomes. Outside of the professional sphere, I'm passionate about giving back. I am an avid volunteer in my domain which is project management as well as in the industry. I also take joy in mentoring up-and-comers. Currently, I'm also conducting a doctoral research focused on creating resilient project teams in turbulent times. If you're keen on discussing business, technology, project management or exchanging insights and experiences, perhaps over a coffee (virtual ones, included), I'm here.
