Saudi Arabia

Managing a large turnkey oil well construction project for Saudi Aramco, as part of a 120 well campaign to be delivered in 4 years, introducing a portfolio of technology and changes in operational practices. Navigated through the pandemic, maintained business continuity and delivered superior performance.

Bangladesh

Marking the first business footprint in Bangladesh to deliver Schlumberger's first integrated drilling project. The multimillion-dollar project was awarded as part of the ambitious goal set by the government to deliver 108 gas wells by 2021. The biggest challenge was to mobilize over 270 shipments from different countries and to start up the project within the given timeline.Applied effective risk management tools and led risk assessments for high-risk operations, that was then adopted by the customer and enforced in all critical activities. Delivered an excellent performance metric of 7 hours of non-productive time (NPT) in over 4000 operating hours.

Indonesia

The very integrated geothermal drilling project worldwide for SLB. Landed in this multi-million-dollar project, as a Shadow Project Manager before fully taking over as the Project Manager. The nature of geothermal drilling is technically challenging and requires a lot of agility in handling operational changes.Implemented Standard Work for field personnel, including coaching and running a reward scheme for good performers. Improved project performance through technology implementation, resulting in financial incentives for both the customer and SLB.

Myanmar

Business leader in Myanmar managing a 40 MUSD location, during the peak of the oil price. Fully responsible for P&L and business development of Directional Drilling and Measurements While Drilling. Successfully delivered the very first deepwater exploration well in Myanmar. Successfully completed a high-profile gas development campaign for the country, where SLB broke world records for tool performance and adopted new technology. This was a remote operation, where equipment and support were mostly coming from outside the country, this required extremely careful contingency planning.At the dawn of the downturn, managed to keep the location profitable by downsizing the organization and resource planning with the customer; while staying engaged with the team members.

Turkmenistan

Responsible for service delivery, managing a team of ~50 people to support 6 rig operations. Ensuring flawless delivery of directional drilling and logging while drilling services. Increasing profitability through cost control and technology implementation. Taking part in P&L reviews, business forecast and capital expenditure planning. Lead tender submission and successfully secured a long term land contract through knowledge of customer operations and good technology mix strategy.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan

Training Manager role for the region, looking after the training and development of ~250 field and maintenance personnel. Enabling cross-training of good performers and championing knowledge sharing in the region. Also responsible for loading metrics, recruitment planning and ensuring appraisals and performance reviews are being conducted.

Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan

Completed training program to become a general field engineer providing a multitude of services for major clients (BP, Petronas, eni, Wintershall, etc).Delivered a GHG emission reduction project through the establishment of remote learning programs that allowed engineers in the Caspian Sea region to undergo certain courses through video streaming, rather than flying them to learning centers.

Working as junior engineer progressing through the career path and became senior engineer. Providing M/LWD services to clients in Mexico (Pemex, Repsol) and India (ONGC).Reporting to the Drilling Services Manager, responsibilities include:• Preparing and mobilizing Slim Hole MWD services as well as training local engineers for a newly awarded Bombay High Project. Alongside 3 other Field Engineers the project kicked off successfully and continued for 3 years thereafter• Providing MWD services through Schlumberger’s Integrated Project Management in Mexico’s Burgos basin in Reynosa. The land project was done with 3 rigs. Engineers were moved straight from one well to the next
