· Opening of customer markets in Mexico, USA (Payless, Wolverine, HH Brown, Camuto, which are among the largest customers of the US footwear market) Chile, Perú and of a branch office in Ecuador.· Owner and Manager of the one of the largest women shoes manufacturing units in LATAM, after Mexico and Brazil, with more than 800 employees.· Opening in Colombia of Shoe Express footwear, the pioneer direct sales concept of footwear and accessories, achieving 9000 active sales advisers.· Implementing marketing strategies for our own shoe and accessories brand: Reindeer, which became Colombia´s most important brand in the category, with sales in excess of U$ 30MM.· Creation and implementation of the Reindeer brand stores. Opening of 50 stores and 60 direct shop-in-shops. For the project we hired a team of Spanish consultants who formerly worked at Inditex, Levi’s and Mango. As a direct consequence of this store concept, Reindeer became the brand with the highest gross margin in the market, reaching 70% of initial gross margin.· Management of Colombian, Chinese and Brazilian suppliers, working directly with the owners.· Direct leadership during the profound strategic changes the footwear industry underwent.· Factory shutdown and face to face negotiation with 650 direct employees, a process I personally led after three generations in the footwear manufacturing business.· Renegotiation by private agreement with the financial creditors of a US $ 8M financial burden. Personally, led the negotiation that involved the most important players in the country's financial system achieving a 10-year debt reclassification with a two-year grace period.· Filed for insolvency law in order to manage financial liabilities· Negotiated a Reindeer brand license agreement with a footwear multinational
