I run the YWCA’s Women’s Empowerment 360° (WE360°) Program, which helps aspiring business owners, mom& pop businesses, ecommerce retailers, artists and independent consultants to start, grow or sustain a business. The program is designed to help women and women of color overcome barriers in entrepreneurship and provide them with the knowledge, tools and confidence to be successful business owners. Training includes key small business skills such as how to write a business plan, legal requirements for businesses, financing options, marketing basics, customer service and HR best practices. The program also provides both mentoring and coaching for budding business owners as well as creating a supportive community for them to rely on.
