As a Grants Manager, I oversee the day-to-day grantmaking operations of an organization with a volume of 7,000+ (=~$750million) grants annually and manage special projects, staff training and supervision.

Lead the organization in the administration of all aspects of commercial motor vehicle cooperative agreements, contracts, and grants. Such as:-Overseeing the life cycle of all federal awards, such as, coordinating all elements associated with the annual development and submission of applications for federal funding, monitoring activities by tracking deliverables, developing, and submitting modifications as necessary, reviewing and submitting reimbursements, coordinating the development of progress reports, as required, and processing closeout related activities for all federal awards-Ensuring compliance with federal cooperative agreements, contracts, and grants reporting requirements, and ensures all deliverables are met.-Leading collaborative projects to set overall organizational policies and priorities -Managing the development, monitoring and updating of annual program budgets

Managed the overall grantmaking process for the Foundation through implementing infrastructure roll out, establishing grant management strategy, and codifying S.O.P across funding initiatives.

DC Soccer Sessions provided soccer-specific teaching and training opportunities to over 550+ adults of all ages, skills sets, and fitness levels in a welcoming and fun space. Services included clinics, classes, tournaments, and personal training for women’s-only and co-ed groups.

Provided programmatic support through grant moderation, administration, and program coordination for a six month grant program called the Red Backpack Fund. Spanx and The Spanx by Sara Blakely Foundation have been dedicated to elevating and supporting women through entrepreneurship. Knowing the ripple effect that empowering women can have to strengthen neighborhoods, cities and countries, The Spanx by Sara Blakely Foundation donated $5 million to support female entrepreneurs in the wake of COVID-19 and teamed up with GlobalGiving to establish the Red Backpack Fund. I helped oversee the administration of the fund, making 1,000 grants of $5,000 each to female entrepreneurs in the U.S. to help alleviate the immediate needs and support the long-term recovery of those impacted by this crisis.

Independently operated a high-intensity fitness studio offering custom personal training programs and small group classes.Motivated over 400+ clients to improve their overall fitness, confidence, and health through advanced knowledge of human anatomy, concepts of functional exercise, nutrition and a positive and encouraging environment.

Part of a highly successful cross-functional team responsible for vetting more than 2,500 nonprofit organizations and administering a multimillion dollar grant portfolio.Part of the team's responsibilities included liaising with corporate representatives and grantees to achieve goals, and launching experiments that led to innovative, streamlined due diligence processes that reduced vetting processing times and improved customer service. Another highlight was focusing on creating an inventory of international grant making regulations from 104 countries and 4 territories.

Part of a new team focused on implementing corporate partner programs such as grant making, employee giving, and cause marking campaigns.The Pepsi Refresh cause marketing campaign kicked off the formation of this team, during which we moderated thousands of proposals, and administered and managed more than 900 grants worth $20m. Grantees included individuals, non-profits and for-profits. We regularly reported to Pepsi on status on grantees and measured impact of activities.
