Works closely with clinical skills lab coordinator and simulation specialist in maintaining and operating simulation equipment for clinical skills development and enhancing simulation-based education for all healthcare programs at Samuel Merritt University.

I completed my capstone project at Charlotte Maxwell Clinic. My goal was to explore the benefits of occupational therapy in oncology care and to promote meaningful activities throughout a cancer diagnosis. This was achieved by conducting biweekly workshops and administering feedback surveys to explore occupational engagement and promote patient-centered care, while also advancing health equity within our community.

I completed 473 hours working under the direct supervision of an OTR/L gaining clinical experience, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and enhancing my knowledge and skills in implementing client centered treatment plans.

Working under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists gaining invaluable hands-on experience in assessing and treating a diverse range of pediatric conditions.

Observed a licensed occupational therapy clinical instructor for 40 hours providing evaluations, assessments, and treatment at an acute care hospital in the trauma service unit.
