Our focus on public building types such as performing arts centers, theaters, museums and libraries informs a design approach responsive to context. We honor the cultural heritage of a community, adapting our architecture with each project.

The Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) is a nonprofit organization that uses the power of design and art to increase meaningful civic engagement particularly among underrepresented communities. CUP projects demystify the urban policy and planning issues that impact our communities, so that more individuals can better participate in shaping them.

Third Street Music School Settlement is the nation’s longest-running community music school, offering students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to become the best musicians, dancers, singers and composers that they can be. With a mission to provide access to high-quality music education to all people, no matter their financial situation, Third Street is a music school for everyone.
