Byte is a well established product to consumer company in the dental space that has invested heavily in their engineering and product development. I joined at a time when BytePlus, a new product, was being built for dentists. I was one of the core engineers in its development. I also contributed to the data engineering team in various capacities. Technologies included Javascript, Python, React, Microsoft Azure Cloud, NextJS, Playwright, Snowflake, DBT, PostgreSQL, Micro-service & distributed architecture, system design & architecture, database design, non relational and relational DB design and modeling, and used various third party apis and tools, e.g. NexHealth(PMS/scheduler), Shopify, Salesforce, Loom.
