What makes me an above average candidate for any job? I learn from my mistakes.I was raised to believe mistakes are bad. But with time I have learned that mistakes happen but the worst thing that I can do as a young and eager to learn individual is to quit after making a mistake. Granted I understand that some mistakes can be avoided but I also want to learn to grow from my mistakes so I can improve my current skills. Some of the skills that I now have took years to develop such as my public speaking skills, my ability to multitask, and my ability to be an amazing team player. It wasn't without effort that I tried to be like my peers. I gained my confidence and verbal skills by first learning to communicate the wrong way and then being corrected. I learned to be less terrified of public speaking by making myself speak to small groups of people and then receiving feedback for not making myself clear. Ultimately there is always room for improvement and I am on my way to become what I want to be. An overqualified extrovert who never stops learning.
