Currently I work with senior engineers on a range of transportation corridor planning, traffic analysis, signalization, drainage and highway design projects.I hold a Bachelor of Art and Design and ten years of experience in Civil Engineering. I bring a professional positive attitude to work each day. My motivated, friendly, get it done attitude is valued amongst all coworkers I’ve had the opportunity to work with.With my diverse background in art and design combined with extensive software application skills I provide expertise in quickly creating 3D concept models on numerous project. I provide strategic direction for the company with regard to virtual design efforts and serves as a key advisor to project teams on visualization capabilities and implementation strategies throughout the project design and development.To aid in bridging the gap between UAS and BIM models, I help with data control specifications on project flight paths and how the project data should be collected to ensure a smooth transition of the flight model with BIM.UAS - BIM combination enables project stakeholders to be fully informed of the projects impact and work to be completed. This aids in avoiding mistakes that could lead to delays and extra cost.As this area of technology continues to grow I find innovative ways to overcome the new challenges it presents, capitalizing on 3D data, how to manage it and fit it into the real world.In addition, I am responsible for creating plan sets applying my knowledge of civil design standards and working collaboratively with civil engineers through project completion. Using MicroStation to create design plans for culverts, bridges, grading, paving, resurfacing, water main, drainage and sewer projects, I have worked across a variety of projects, where I deal mainly with 3D designs created from templates and terrain models.I have a solid visual mind combined with excellent documentation and communication skills that allows me to provide helpful planning and development assistance throughout all stages of design. My analytical eye and ability to envision the end result helps me to bring projects to reality.
