I recently began some freelance education work at the Jewish Womens Aid, an organisation which combats the issues and provides support for women going through domestic/sexual violence. My role has included running a va-riety of educational sessions for school children and young adults across a vide range of settings. This role has helped me develop skills such as com-munication skills, leadership qualities and a strong understanding of welfare and disclousure proceadings.

At blueberry, I’m on a team of part-time Marketing lead generators. My role focuses on telecoms calling clients and potential clients for a variety of government-backed and private agencies. I have to meet challenging KPI each shift, pushing my abilities. The skills I have developed from this job are: over the phone communication, use of Excel, and the understanding of GDPR policy.

Over the last 4 years I’ve been responsible for leading a group of children and managing leaders over a range of settings and periods of time. I’ve written and delivered educational programs across a wide range of social action-based topics. Welfare and safeguarding are a key part of my role, making sure the children have a fun and safe time. This role required strong organizational and communication skills which involved being able to structure strong educational programs, speaking Infront of large groups of people as well as working to a strict critical path to deliver qualitative and on-time programs that were both fun, educational and engaging. Also adhering to the safeguarding guidelines.

For Leeds Jewish Society I was the Interfaith and social action officer. My responsibilities included creating a variety of events that brought different communities within the wider student community together to learn and educate each other, about where we come from and promoting diversity and equality. Also, focusing on important issues running educational sessions and events based on them, to spread awareness and make a change. Furthermore, I was a general committee member supporting them in their events and campaigns.

At MOD Pizza I had to work as a team to make sure the restaurant was running smoothly. Responsibilities included taking orders, making pizza, serving, prepping and cleaning. This job was a good all-rounder and helped me develop skills across the board. Including direct communication, efficiency and overall helped me push myself and my ability.

At Trend Market research I was responsible for contacting potential candidates and screening them to see if they would be a good fit for the client. I was also a liaison with the client to make sure the appropriate information was being sent out and that I was hiring clients to fit their needs. This took a great range of skills including, communication, organisation, precision and good customer service.
