SAW Video is an artist-run centre committed to supporting the ground-breaking artistic production, presentation and programming of independent video and media art. SAW Video provides many services to its members including affordable technical facilities and a wide range of programs. Its services and programs are designed to create an atmosphere that inspires production through the exchange of ideas around form, content and style.In concrete terms, SAW Video supports independent media artists with affordable access to video production and post-production facilities, grants and mentorship programs, a comprehensive range of introductory, intermediate and advanced workshops, as well as screenings and exhibitions.

NIMAC works to support, promote and connect Indigenous media artists on a National scale. NIMAC works in partnership with the Independent Media arts Alliance(IMAA) to improve Indigenous representation within National Arts Service Organizations and within the non-profit media arts sector.

The Independent Media Arts Alliance is a non-profit national arts service organization that promotes and advances the interests of a vibrant media arts community. Representing over 80 independent film, video, and new media production, distribution, and exhibition organizations in all parts of Canada, the IMAA serves over 12,000 independent media artists and cultural workers
