Ariel Cohen, L.L.B., Ph.D., is a recognized authority on international security and energy policy, and the rule of law. He serves as the Managing Director at the Energy, Growth, and Security Program at the International Tax and Investment Center and Principal at International Market Analysis Ltd, a political risk advisory. Dr. Cohen, a leading expert in Russia/Eurasia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, is Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. In 1992-2014 he served as a Senior Research Fellow in Russian and Eurasian Studies and International Energy Policy at the Heritage Foundation. Cohen frequently testifies before committees of the U.S. Congress and conducts briefings for the U.S. Government agencies and institutions. Cohen consults for Fortune 500 companies and international law firms. He served as a Senior Consultant for Burson Marsteller’s, and for Emerging Markets Communications, a strategic communications consultancy. He has prepared expert testimonies in high profile cases tried and arbitrated by the leading Washington and Chicago law firms.
