The Multicultural Entertainer

The Multicultural Entertainer

As, " The Multicultural Entertainer," I have delighted campers and staff of hundreds of camps around New England each summer for many years, with my upbeat program of songs and dances from around the world. This unique program got everyone involved in learning about the diverse cultures of the world, as well as becoming more environmentally aware. My fast paced, action packed, show was a one-of-a kind event, which had kids babbling about it for days after. Throughout the show, everyone joined in by singing along to flip-charts in many languages, participated by way of wearing different ethnic costumes, or even getting up " on stage" to play authentic instruments!Campers, and staff, all became involved by learning and partaking in exiting traditional and contemporary dances from many of the continents.Coming from an ethnically diverse background, I was able to incorporate the traditions and cultures of others into the shows. I helped people understand, in a fun way, aspects of culture that are often misunderstood or misrepresented. The Multicultural Experience reached out to hundreds of thousands of children from many social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds (including those with special needs) sharing our love for the world.
