I was responsible for all things involved in running the shop. I open/close the shop, make appointments, instruct new customers, set up returning customers with necessary materials, make transactions, and perform the settlement at the end of the night. I keep the shop clean while leading other workers in their responsibilities. I had also taken over bookkeeping duties.

During my shift, I had to make sure all sanitary and customer service requirements were met. This included checking temperatures of appliances, up keeping the cleanliness of the store and assuring team members behaved in a pleasant, helpful, and efficient manner. All while ensuring the best customer service for our diners.

While following the instructor’s lesson plan, I was present during the discussion hour to assist students in the understanding of their Pre-Calculus course. I was required to be well versed in the material and able to communicate the content clearly and creatively in a manner tailored to each student. At times I was responsible for leading the discussion to cover topics the entire class was struggling with.

It was my responsibility to greet my clients and their owners when they arrived for appointments. I would wash dogs, brush their hair and teeth, and trim their nails, all while ensuring it was done safely. I also would reach out to over-do pet owners to schedule appointments for the future.

My most important job duty was providing excellent customer service to our customers. I would retrieve the correct shoe in the right size, compare it to other shoes and bring out similar options they may like, and recommend care and accessories for their purchases. Between customers, I made sure to keep the back room in order by organizing our merchandise.
