Design and implementation of Cisco switching, routing and voice solutions.

Very dynamic position where I am involved in the administration of a virtualized server farm running a Windows domain (AD, Exchange, etc.), technical support for our employees and resellers, maintenance of the Cisco network equipment and Call Manager system, and liaison with many external and internal consultants, including our main ERP software provider ADP/Kerridge for their AutoLine software. I was directly involved in both the transition to a Cisco VoIP telephony system and the virtualization of our servers using VMware, which resulted in direct savings to the company, both financially and time-wise.Other projects with financial impact have been the implementation of an email spam filtering gateway using Linux and other open source software, and the creation of an extranet using PHP, providing our customers with more information, thus reducing the number of calls and time lost on simple queries.Some of my other tasks include Check Point firewall/VPN maintenance, and learning the SQL Server universe including Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services.

I actually worked here every summer during college (1998-2003) but full time from my graduation until December of the same year.My job involved the troubleshooting and repair of x-ray, sonography, MRI and CT medical imaging equipment. In the office, I was the network administrator.
