Developed and implemented HR due diligence processes to transition hotels into the firm and establish company culture, support employee morale, and comply with state/local employment laws, resulting in 4 new-builds and 3 acquisitions, increasing the number of hotels in the portfolio by 87.5%. Managed COVID-19 response efforts (e.g., guidance, training, policy creation, and implementation of robust safety measures and employee support initiatives), resulting in business continuity. Led the end-to-end project management and implementation of onboarding and applicant tracking systems, resulting in reduced costs, increased efficiencies, and enhanced user experiences. Assumed the position of Chair of The Donohoe Companies' corporate diversity and inclusion council in 2020, playing a pivotal role in developing and executing D&I strategies and initiatives, including the implementation of a company-wide mentoring program. Developed effective talent acquisition, recruitment, and brand awareness strategies (e.g., organizing and attending job fairs, participating in workforce development programs, and engaging recruitment partners).

Oversaw all human resources functions of a $42M retail store with 175+ employees (e.g., employee relations, performance management, recruitment and staffing, succession planning and talent management, retention and turnover, training and development, and regulatory compliance); and the performance of HR direct reports. Successfully managed employee engagement activities and a $40K employee recognition budget, resulting in wins such as fulfilled and motivated employees and a 24% decrease in turnover. Led community well-being efforts for employee engagement and Target's legacy of community giving/service, achieving 136% of volunteer and 153% of United Way contribution goals.
