About Ariel Dela Cruz

Let's talk about environmental (in)justice and how we are all interconnected. Throughout my journey of eco-education and traveling, I have gained a deeper appreciation for our world. While our economies and technologies are advancing, it comes at the expense of the livelihoods of our people and planet. My goal is to bring awareness of environmental justice and mindfulness through community education and engagement. We cannot do better if we do not know better. My focus is on empowering BIPOC and low-income communities towards taking action, starting locally. My most recent projects & work include:+ Running an Eco Club for 5th graders for the past 2 years + Collectively organized a free outdoor gear swap for our LA communities+ Organizing and led an outdoor field trip for the youth of Long Beach + Trainer for Sierra Club's Activist Academy focusing on the 30x30 campaign I have made it my life mission to incorporate sustainability in the work I do and influence others through leadership.
