While in college, I worked in the home care field for nearly five years, and during that time, I graduated with my BA in English and Creative Writing. I had plans to pursue a job in my intended career field, but I fell in love with my home care work. My clients there taught me so much about life, hope, how to help others and empathy. I felt called to be there for them. Unfortunately, I had to leave that job due to unforeseen life circumstances that led me to move back to my home state of Kentucky. While I miss working with my home care clients, I am grateful to be part of the Scrubs & More family now. Their support for my continued education means everything to me. They help me look forward to the day I will graduate soon with my BS in Health Information Management. Although this is not the career path I had initially envisioned myself in when I first started college, I am grateful for new beginnings and excited to see where this journey takes me.
