Regional HR Generalist role providing on-site and virtual support to 100+ departments of Mercy Health Physician Partners. Including union and non-union locations, unions spanning six separate CBAs. - Provide support in various areas of HR including onboarding, recruiting/retention, policy interpretation, CBA interpretation, leave of absence, benefit plans and enrollment, compensation, retirement accounts, compensation, performance evaluations, HRIS maintenance, etc. - Oversee colleague relation matters. Guiding leaders, performing investigations and providing quick, fair and lawful resolution.- Coach leaders in colleague engagement. Interpreting survey data and creating robust action plans. - Oversee HR aspects of company acquisitions. Ensured compassionate and seamless acquisition of two family practices, and one large medical group acquisition of 89 colleagues.- Represent employer in unemployment hearings.- Develop staff retention plans in coordination with Recruiters.- Lead team to prepare for external audits and surveys.- Familiar with Lean principles and utilizing A3 process improvement.- Assist in development of HR policies and processes.- Gather and analyze HR metrics related to retention and turnover.- Workforce planning. Facilitate department restructure, including job elimination and issuing/processing severance packages.- Partner effectively with HR specialist areas of Recruiting, Compensation, Organizational Development, and HR Service Center (call center).- Facilitate learning in areas of cultural awareness, colleague engagement, risk management, processes, HRIS maintenance, and leadership development.- Provide technical support to leaders and front-line staff.- Efficient use of Workday HRIS system. - Familiar with Kronos and API timekeeping systems.- Champion workplace culture, aligning all decisions/actions with company Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
