As a healthcare IT trainer, I bring a unique perspective to my work, having worked as a nurse in a variety of settings, including rehabilitation, acute care, long-term care, and hospice and palliative medicine. I am also currently a student in healthcare policy and administration, where I am learning how to make a broader impact on healthcare delivery and access. My passion lies in improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare, both in employment practices and patient care. I believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality care and that healthcare organizations have a responsibility to create an environment that supports this. In my current position, I am able to help empower medical professionals to deliver better care and improve health outcomes for all.Outside of my work, I am an active member of my community and serve as a volunteer for a non-profit organization that seeks to address social determinants that affect students in our local school district. I believe that the work we do in our communities can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of our fellow citizens, and I am committed to doing my part to create a more equitable and just healthcare system.
