I was accepted into the Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA). It is an intensive, full-time internship that includes academic and technical training, practical exercises aligned to meet urgent industry needs for Information Technology professionals. The internship combines college accredited academics and hands-on training, with the goal of preparing members for technical opportunities at Microsoft and their enterprise partners.I specialize in Server and Cloud Administration:• Networking: Set up, configure and maintain logical and virtual networks as well as generate system improvements based on business needs.• Security: Develop and monitor security related policies, guidelines, and infrastructure.• Virtualization: Deploy virtual systems and resource groups using Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure.• Access Management: Use Active Directory Domain Services to manage access to domain resources through the implementationand modification of rights management policies for users, computers and organization units.• Cloud: Implement Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions by managing high availability sets, security, virtual networking, and storage for virtual machines using PowerShell and the Azure Portal.• Server: Install and configure Windows Server 2016 using GUI and PowerShell.•Technical: Used Linux based Raspberry Pi motherboard to create an access point in a standalone Network. Configured the Raspberry Pi and created an individual Wireless Access Point.

Guidance provided resulted in Employees having a 75% promotion rate into leadership roles. •Attention to detail: Maintained the progression of the training room by familiarizing all members of company policy, resources, filing, and maintaining personnel information improving continuity of work place. Company files and resources are now organized and centrally managed as a result of new processes developed.

Attained a customer satisfaction rating 97% of the time. • Project Management: Kept manual and digital records to perform stock and control accounting procedures by operating computer hardware and software. Resulted in high quality records, controls, and technical excellence with the systems.• Time management: Breaking up larger goals into smaller goals in order to be able to focus one step at a time and keep an efficient time frame on each specific goal. Met 100% of requirements on time and was relied on for unique and unplanned situations.• English-Spanish: Broke the language barrier for the company by being able to assist and translate from English to Spanish for all the English as a Second Language members.• Empathy: Placed myself in the shoes of others to understand where employees are coming from. Understood the reason for their behavior and continued to assist in their personal development.
