The company saved money on licensing and maintenance because the process was completed ahead of schedule. • I was part of a team that brought the Scrum Agile technique to ATCO I-TEK with the Group Streetlights project, the new SmallTalk front-end windows, and COBOL DB2 online programs integrated into ATCO-CIS system. As a result, the client was able to comply with the Alberta Utility Commission initiative on time. • Weekly and monthly postal codes (PRISM OPTIQ and DRQ) are now automatically uploaded from the web server to the mainframe. By eliminating manual operations from the process, the company was able to save money and time while also lowering the risk of errors. • The North of 60 paper bills statement was created using Oracle Documaker for bill formatting and COBOL DB2 for programs batch data extraction. This provided the groundwork for a consistent bill statement format for consumers of ATCO's newly acquired Yukon and Northwest Territories companies. • Developed the interface components between the Work Management and ATCO-CIS systems (COBOL DB2 programs and online copybook, XML through the Gateway.NET applications).
