As a seasonal lifeguard for the City of San Diego I was responsible for maintaining a safe environment for swimmers and beach goers. Duties included water rescues, minor first aid, and communication to the public answering questions about beach safety and regulations.

Worked as a teaching assistant for college level algebra classes leading biweekly sections with 12-15 students. This role included administration of study materials, one one one assistance for struggling students, and student evaluations. I also provided one on one academic tutoring for a variety of different college courses including other math courses, writing, and science.
