Rabbi Ariel Tovlev (formerly Zitny) was ordained from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion. He has previously received a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, with a second major of Psychology, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University. He has also received a Master's in Jewish Education from HUC-JIR's Rhea Hirsch School of Education. He has worked as a student rabbi and educator. He is currently working as an independent rabbi in the DMV.
